Leading up to Christmas, I love to read about and marvel at the unique events surrounding the birth, infancy, and childhood of Jesus Christ found in the Gospels of Luke and Matthew.  Then I like to read the prologue in John’s Gospel and meditate upon John’s lifetime of theological reflection on the Incarnation of God in Christ.

Studying these divinely inspired historical accounts always makes for a Merry Christmas because they reveal a Savior who is the source of true love, joy, and peace.  Life is full of disappointments but never a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  May the Son of God fill your heart this holiday season!
