Former Penn State President Gets Jail Time in Sandusky Case

Former Penn State president Graham Spanier, vice president Gary Schultz, and athletic director Tim Curley were all sentenced to time in jail for not reporting former coach Jerry Sandusky to child welfare authorities or police when told about his sexual molestation of boys.  They broke the law because they were more concerned about the public image of Penn State then the sexual abuse of boys by a predator.

The exact same thing is true of C.J. Mahaney, Grant Laymen, Chris Glass, Robin Boisvert, Gary Ricucci, John Loftness, Joshua Harris, Corby Megorden and Kenneth Maresco – all former pastors in Covenant Life Church except for Boisvert who is still on staff.  These men knew Nathaniel Morales was a sexual predator but did not report him for fear of financial and reputational harms.  Mahaney first learned about Morales in 1991.  For the next 20 years, Morales continued to sexually abuse boys in different parts of the United States including two stepsons in 1994.  He was convicted in 2014.

If justice were served, Mahaney and these pastors would spend time in jail too.
